A sample of hydrogen gas is produced by displacing water at 28c. If the pressure of the resulting hydrogen and water vapor mixture is 753.2 mm of Hg, what is the pressure of the dry hydrogen gas?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need more data like what is vapour pressure of water or hydrogen at 28°C

I looked up the vapor pressue of water and it's 28.3 so I subtracted it to get 724.9, but I don't know if that's correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes that should be correct
