f 27.0 mL of Ca(OH)2 with an unknown concentration is neutralized by 32.40 mL of 0.185 M HCl, what is the concentration of the Ca(OH)2 solution? Show all of the work needed to solve this problem. Ca(OH)2 + 2 HCl 2 H2 O + CaCl2

First, find the ratio of the equation which is 1:2:2:1 Second, we need to find the mol of HCl. Since the molarity and the volume of HCl has been given, to find the mol of HCl, by multiplying volume (has to be converted to dm^3) with molarity which is 5.994x10^-3 After that, we need to find the mole of Ca(OH)2. 5.994x10^-3 divided by 2 (the ratio) times 1 --> 2.997x10^-3 Since you already got the mol of Ca(OH)2, what we do next is to find the molarity of it. Formula to get molarity is mole/volume. so, 2.997x10^-3 divided by 0.023 dm^3 (convert mL to L). you got 0.1303043478, rounded to 0.130 M. Hence, the concentration of Ca(OH)2 is 0.130 M
