What does Juliet ask Romeo to swear his love by? not to swear at all ....actually first she askes him to swear by himself...then not to swear at all It's the other way around. "Do not swear at all; Or if thou wilt, swear by thy gracious self, Which is the god of my idolatry, And I'll believe thee."

Romeo's main goal is to be with Juliet. He proves this by running away and marrying her, and eventually trying to follow her to death. Juliet is almost the same, except she feels a little guilty for going against her father and not marrying Paris. The Prince wants to keep the peace. He also wants the Capulet's and the Montague's feud, as it is destroying life at Verona. "these are the charcters i choose are these ok?

In the beginning: Romeo: Very sad and sullen over Rosaline. Pesimistic when it came to love. Believed he would never love again. Juliet: Very obidient child. LIstened to her mother and father and respected there wishes and limits. "...But no more than your consent give will to make it fly." Thinks thing over before doing them. "its too rash, to unadvised to sudden" in the middle: Romeo: completely in love with juliet. Believes that there must be a way he and Juliet can be together. Juliet: Sneaking out and getting married secretly. Lies to parents. Very rash and hasty. at the end: Romeo: Jumps the gun and won't listen to anyone. So in love with juliet he kills himself. Juliet: Refuses to marry Paris and uses the potion to fake her own death which shows that she doesnt really care she hurts by her "death" as long as she does what she wants. Deceptive. Won't listen to the friar and kills herslef over Romeo.
