Why is it that when you heat blue hydrated copper sulphate it turns to white?

Blue copper sulfate crystals are a hydrate, they have water in the crystal. Heating it removes the water. Then you have the anhydrous crystal and it appears white

copper sulphate crystals are blue, but dehydrated copper sulphate are white

or they call it anhydrous copper sulphate which contains no water

copper sulphate in anhydrous form is called cuprous sulphate and it is white in colour... cuso4.5h20 is copper sulphate while cuso4 is cuprous sulphate which is produced when we heat copper sulphate ..:)

No, cuprous sulfate is another compound : Cu2SO4 .Sam. is right.
