There is a special formula to find the area of an equilateral triangle. Do you know it?
Using this formula you can find the area without having to know the height(only for equilateral triangles.
I am pretty confident I can find the area of the trianagle, what I am confused about is now to find the area of the segments without a radius.
Each segment is a semicircle, am I right?

I really do not know. A third does seem correct, but it would still be kind of a guess.
Lets take it as a third(I don't know how else to do it). So the area of the three segments together would be the area of one circle. We know that diameter is 14 cm(because the side of the triangle is 14 cm). So the area would be: pi * r * r = 22/7 * 7 * 7 This is a guess(considering that each segment is one third of a circle).
i think this has something to do with sine law or cosine law?
