A copper constantan thermocouple produces emf of 40*10^-6 V per degree Celsius in a linear range of thermometer A galvanometer of resistance 10 ohm is able to detect a current of 1*10^-6 Amp. The smallest temperature that can be detected by the arrangement is: (Ans: 0.25 degree Celsius)
"A galvanometer of resistance 10 ohm is able to detect a current of 1*10^-6 Amp"..u mean, it is the least count right??
Is it? I have no clue.. Does that lead to the answer? I am facing such a question for the first time.. lol
yeah i guess so..
its like this..
let T be the least temp...it will produce emf=T*40*10^(-6)... minimum resistance is 10 ohm...this will cause a current to any order but the order is limited by the lc of galvanometer..
