Find the length of the medians of the triangle whose vertices are A(-1, -2), B(3, 6), and C(1, 0). median to AB = median to BC = median to CA =

mid point rule then distance formula to that midpoint.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so from AB A(-1, -2), B(3, 6) (-1+3)/2 , (-2+6)/2 1, 2 = MP then use distance formula to the vertex of C C(1, 0) to MP sqrt( (dx)^2 + (dy)^2 ) sqrt( (1-1)^2 + (2-0)^2 ) 2^2 4 sqrt(4)=2 so AB is 2 :) can you do the other 2?

yes:)
