2.Calculate the molarity of the hydrochloric acid. the previouse answer stated there was a pH of 0.70 of HCl

OpenStudy (btaylor):

pH=-log[H+] --> 0.70=-log[H+] --> -0.70=log[H+] --> 10^-.70=[H+] 0.20=[H+] Since HCl is a strong acid, it completely dissociates into H+ and Cl- ions, so [H+] is the same as the molarity of the HCl. Therefore, the answer is 0.20 molar.
