please help meeee!!!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Well you can simplify k!/k to get k!/k (k*(k-1)!)/k (k-1)! So k!/k turns into (k-1)!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Now compute the sum (1-1)!+(2-1)!+(3-1)!+(4-1)!+(5-1)! (0)!+(1)!+(2)!+(3)!+(4)! 1+1+2+6+24 34 So \[\Large \sum_{k=1}^{5}\frac{k!}{k} = 34\]

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Keep in mind that the first step of simplification is optional as you could have skipped it and still evaluated this.

thank you!!!
