OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[2=(1+r)^5\] is a start but you do not need logs for this. \[\sqrt[5]{2}=1+r\] \[r=\sqrt[5]{2}-1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

looks like about \(14.8\%\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you!!! :) can you help me with thiss too please......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first one is \(2000(1.06)^{19}=6051.20\) rounded

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sat when your done here can you help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not sure about "current value" hold on sec maybe we can find it, but if they make 6% per year and inflation is running at 8% obviously they are losing money

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am going to make a guess that "current value" would be \(2000(1.08)^{19}=8631.40\) rounded

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thanks!
