What are balanced equations of the following: helium burning, carbon burning and neon burning?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well noble gases dont burn, they are inert and carbon burns but products depend on oxigen availability if there is suficient oxigen CO2 is produced and if not CO is produced: C+ O2 -> CO2 C+ 1/2O2 -> CO

dont mention it, glad to help

here is one fun fact graphite is stable modification of carbon at stp not diamond, and diamond cant be dissolved in any solvent be it acid or base but diamond is sensitive to heat and you can burn it easily! only reason why diamond doesnt turn do graphite is kinetics, transformation diamond to graphite is so slow that you cant notice it...
