I know its a lot and you don't have to answer all just ones you can..

OpenStudy (btaylor):

• Compare and contrast the definitions and properties of heat, thermal energy, and temperature: Temperature is the measurement of heat, which is the amount of kinetic energy of a substance's molecules. Thermal energy is the energy (usually in J or kJ) of the heat.

OpenStudy (btaylor):

• Describe what happens to energy over the course of a reaction: Energy is consumed in the process of breaking bonds, and energy is created when bonds are formed. As for the net energy of a reaction, the reaction occurs because of added activation energy (the hump of an energy diagram). If the net change of energy from a reaction is decreasing (negative delta H), the reaction is exothermic. If not, it is endothermic.

OpenStudy (btaylor):

• Distinguish between endothermic and exothermic processes in terms of observed temperature changes and energy flow: Endothermic: absorbs energy, temperature of the system decreases. Exothermic: releases energy, temperature of the system increases.

:)))

OpenStudy (btaylor):

• Be able to create and interpret potential energy diagrams for endothermic and exothermic processes: Endothermic:|dw:1339090998270:dw| Exothermic:|dw:1339091051972:dw|
