1. ( a, bi ) = ( -√2, √2) Since a = 2 cos ( 3π/4) b = 2 sin ( 3π/4)
so i just do that for the rest also?

Because you're working with COMPLEX number! The equation is the relationship between polar and rectangular form of complex number :)
