vertices are \((-\sqrt{33},0),(\sqrt{33},0)\) so length is \(2\sqrt{33}\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide by 33 get \[\frac{x^2}{33}+\frac{4y^2}{33}=1\] them make it look like \(\frac{x^2}{a^2}+\frac{y^2}{b^2}=1\) and you see that \(a^2=33\) making \(a=\sqrt{33}\)
