What volume of 60% hydrochloric acid solution must be added to 100 ml of 30% hydrochloric acid soluytion to make a 36% hydrochloric solution? This question is part of a linear systems unit in class, so I know we need to write two equations with two variables and solve, but i'm having trouble seeing what the two equations are here... could anybody help me just write the equations?
x + 100 = y .60x + 100(.30) = .36y
Unbelievable this was posted a month ago and just now receiving a response.
