How much does 1L of gas weigh if its molecular mass is 254 g/mol?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If this is an ideal gas at STP, then 1 mole = 22.4 liters (otherwise, this is not a simple problem). Carrying on, 1 liter would be 1/22.4 = 0.0446 moles. Then, moles x molar mass = mass; 0.0446 x 254 = 11.3 grams
