so compute \[8\times \frac{18}{38}-8\times \frac{20}{38}\]
the answer should be in fraction ?
\[\frac{8\times 18-8\times 20}{38}=\frac{-16}{38}=-\frac{8}{19}=-.421\] rounded

oh it says "round your answer to the nearest cent" so i guess you need \(-.42\)
it turns out that no matter what you bet on roulette, blocks, even, odd, red, black, whatever the expected value is always the same, \(-\frac{1}{18}\) for every dollar bet
