Quick Tutorial {Velocity}:-
\[\Huge{\color{red}{Velocity-}}\]Velocity of a body is the distance traveled by it per unit time in a given direction,i.e.,Velocity of a body is its speed in a specified direction. The S.I. unit of velocity is m/s. There are two types of velocity:- 1.)Uniform Velocity 2.)Non-Uniform Velocity
Uniform Velocity:- A body has uniform velocity if it travels in a straight line & moves over equal distances in equal intervals of time. Non-Uniform Velocity:- A body has a non-uniform velocity if it travels in a straight line & moves over unequal distances in equal intervals of time.
\[\Huge{\color{green}{\text{Points to be noted:-}}}\]\[\LARGE{\color{gold}{\star}{\color{blue}{\text{Velocity is a vector quantity.}}}}\]\[\LARGE{\color{gold}{\star \star}{\color{blue}{Velocity=\frac{\text{Displacement}}{\text{Total time }}}}}\]
\[\Large{\color{orange}{\text{Displacement:-}}}\]The shortest distance {straight line} from the initial position to the final position of the body, is known as body's Displacement.\[\Large{\color{orange}{\text{Vector Quantity:-}}}\]A quantity that has magnitude as well as direction is called a vector quantity.
|dw:1340323132094:dw| Distance=2+3+5=10 but Displacement=6.
@radar @Loujoelou @myininaya @UnkleRhaukus @lgbasallote @ParthKohli @Preetha plz see:)
That could be like an outline of velocity. I like it. It reminds me of a study guide to a quiz for science :)
yes!
Oh and I learned something new about velocity :)
happy to hear:)
Lol and happy to give you the first medal.
Thanx
@ajprincess @ahaines14
No prob.
Excellent, a logical sequence from your tutorial on motion. Continue with the tutorials embellishing on the laws, and equations and bring in acceleration. With emphasis on gravitational acceleration.
k! sir thanx:)
@ajprincess *
It's really very gud.:)@TheViper
thanx again:)
welcome:)
