Which element is being oxidized in the redox reaction below? PbO (s) + NH3 (g) yields N2 (g) + Pb (s) + H2O (l) Pb O N H

i dont get any of these type of questions. Which of the following represents the balanced reduction half-reaction from the redox reaction? Pb + Pd(NO3)2 yields Pb(NO3)2 + Pd Answer Pb yields Pd2+ + e- Pd2+ + 2e- yields Pd Pb + e- yields Pb 2 Pd2+ + 4 e- yields 2 Pd

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

In this case one metal atom donates its electrons to another metal ions as result first metal atom oxidises to metal ion and later metal ion get reduced to metal!!! have u heard metal displacement reaction and electrochemical series!!1

i have no idea
