Help please?
Remember: When: \[Log_b (a) = x\] Then: \[b^x = a\] In first question: Firstly add 5 both the sides and tell me what you got??
Sorry add x both the sides..
\[1-\log_{3}{27-x}=5 \]\[=3^5=27-x\]\[=243=27-x\]\[=-x=243-27\]\[=-x=216=-216\] \[2-\log_{3}{x-1}=3 \]\[=3^3=x-1\]\[=27=x-1\]\[=x=-27-1=-28.\]
theres no -28
Oops! sorry its x-1=27=>x=27+1=28.
\[Log_3x = 3 + 1 = 4\] So, using the above formula: \[3^4 = x\] \[x = 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3\] Multiply and get the answer...
This is the solution of Second Question...
There is the solution of second ques @waterineyes
@sara1234 Is it a exam/test?
What are you trying to say???
