how to find common monomial factors?.
What is the specific question?
Wait be patient @ParthKohli
1) look at the terms 2) find what is common (what appears in all terms)
The common factor will be the number that can be divided from both terms.
for example you have 4x + 3xy both terms have x so x is the common monomial factor got it? :)
@lgbasallote Doesn't apply if you see constants somewhat.
You can't check everything visually.
you'll write it as x(4 + 3y)
A systematic approach is a good one.
no still @lgbasallote is perfect to his point the answer is STRAIGHT to the POINT
another example.. a^2 + 2ab +4a a is common again..so that's the common monomial factor
are you getting the concept @Ms.Blue ? :D
The correct definition with a genus and a species is that "A common factor is a number(algebraic or constant) such that it perfectly divides from both the terms obtaining no remainder somewhat."
did you get my simple explanation @Ms.Blue ?
tnx for the answer :) i got it i know it but im not sure.. . thats why i ask..
ahhh glad to hear that ^_^
