A 10 L sample of gas is collected at 200 K. The gas expands to 40 L. What must the new temperature be in order to maintain the same pressure as required by Charles's Law? (i think its 800 k) --------------- 50 K 200 K 400 K 800 K

again equation: p1V1T2=p2V2T1 only now pressure is constant so it crosses itself from equation and you get: V1T2=V2T1 and T2= V2T1/V1 and answer is: 800 K
