Describe in detail what you expect for the changes in enthalpy, entropy, and free energy when a sample of liquid evaporates. How does temperature affect these changes?

Liquid to Gas Water into steam. For enthalpy: in order to turn water into steam do you input heat or take heat away? For entropy: is it easier to contain a liquid or is it easier to contain a gas? Remeber entropy is synonymous to chaotic state of matter. For free energy changes: \[\Delta G = \Delta H - T \Delta S\] or \[\Delta G = U - T \Delta S - PV \] (given pressure and volume of the reaction vessel. But understand the a negative Delta G means spontaneous reaction while a positive delta G needs an input of energy to carry out the reaction. So does water boil spontaneously to form steam?
