need help to solve this problem A proton is accelerated from rest through a potential difference of 25674 V. What is the kinetic energy of this proton after this acceleration? The mass of a proton is 1.673 × 10−27 kg and the elemental charge is 1.602 × 10−19 C. Answer in units of J

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The variation of kinetic enery is just the product between the charge with the difference potential... because the proton is accelerated from rest the final kinetic energy is equal to Vxq =(25764).(1.602x10^-19)=4.13x10^-15 Joules
