if 3.00g of Zn is allowed to react with 1.75g of CuSo4, how many grams of Zn will remain after the reaction is complete?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would start by writing the balanced chemical equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oo,thanks for the tips...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

after you have that use some stoichiometry to figure out which the limiting reagent is but they told you it will be Zn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooh,i got it...thanks a lot zbay... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:) glad i could help

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

@zbay Zn will be in excess & CuSO4 will be limiting reagent. Becoz Zn is remained after completion of reaction :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (maheshmeghwal9):

no worries:D
