can someone explain to me the Kinetic Molecular Theory and the Gas Laws associated with them? note: PLEASE use VERY simple and layman terms. im not good with chemistry terminologies
Kinetic Molecular Theory baically describes the way molecules that make up a compound behave. forexample when a substance is below its melting point its solid and the molecules are in a tight latice like structor which, then when it's above it's melting point it's liquid and the molecules have more room to move around and such. Then when the substance goes past its boiling point it turns into a gas and these molecules move around all over the place.
i meant an enumeration of the postulates of the kinetic molecular theory and an explanation for each one and also which postulate number corresponds to what gas law...
