u there?

ok m solving this if you have any queries let me know m=3.67kg k=29.3 M=7.34Kg R=7.01cm=7.01/100m=0.071m since the system start from rest so law of conservation of energy can be written as \[\Large 1/2kx^2-mgx+1/2I \omega^2+1/2mv^2=0\] for solid objects I(moment of inertia ) is I=0.5MR^2 I=0.5(7.3)(0.071)^2=0.0185 m^4 x=1 m put all the values in above conservation equation you will get velocity which is the only unknown . b) maximum spring extension when potential energy becomes equal to kinetic energy then maximum extension will occur so \[\Large mgx=1/2mv^2\] or \[\Large x=\frac{2mg}{k}\] use the above values and get the value of x you will get maximum extension value. if you have any query regarding this let me know !
