How many moles of CO2 are in 870 mL of a 0.75 M solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

co2 is 12+(16*2) = 44 grams / mole. you have molarity = moles/ volume(in L). so you have .75 = x/.870 .75 * .870 = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A 0.75M solution means that there are 0.75mol CO2 in every 1L of solution. 870mL = 0.87L * (0.75mol/L) = 0.6525mol CO2
