Does adding Fe^3+ to the reversible reacting Fe^3 (aq) + SCN^- (aq) <-----> FeSCN^2+ increase or decrease FeSCN^2+?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm thinking it increases it because adding more reactant increases forward reaction. Is this right?

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

[FeSCN^2+]↑ since the system tends to reduce the interference and this is a homogeneous (both of Fe^3+ and FeSCN^2+ are aq.) one, [Fe^3+] decrease and more FeSCN^2+ form.
