A solution has a hydronium-ion concentration of 1.0x10^-5 mol per liter. What is the pH of this solution? What is the hydroxide-ion concentration of this solution?

The pH = - log[H30+] = -log(10^-5) = 5. pH + pOH = pKw = 14, pH = 5. So pOH = 9.
Since the pOH is 9 , the hydroxide ion concentration = 1.0*10^-9 M
