you cant take the square root of a negative number
but you can take the square root of zero
also remember no matter what you sub into x you will get a positive number
because it is squared

So, domain is (x^2 -4) >=0
Solve that
how?
because the square root of something must be gretaer than or equal to 0
\[x \le-2\] and \[x \ge2\]
