you are told both \(v\) and \(s\) in the question. \(v\) is the "initial speed, i.e. \(v-110\) \(s\) is the initial height, so \(s=165\) when it hits the ground, the height will be zero, so your actual job is to solve \[-16t^2+110t+165=0\] for \(t\) can you do that?
