(f + g)(x). it just means f(x)+g(x)
4x + 7+3x^2 rearrange 3x^2+4x+7
f(x) = 7x + 7, g(x) = 6x2 Find (fg)(x). how about this example^^ how do I write it
f(x)*g(x)
(7x + 7)*( 6x^2) expand it

42*x^3+42*x^2
like this 42x^3 + 42x^2
Find (fg)(x). Is that exactly how it appears in your book?
yes
because it could be a composite function which is f o g (x)

i think its 42x^3 + 42x^2
in that case if it is composite then it is f((g(x))
no it is composite hold on in that case it is
f(x) = 7x + 7, g(x) = 6x2 7(6x^2) + 7
7(6x^2) + 7 42x^2+7

42x^2 + 42x 6x^2 + 7x + 7 42x + 42 42x^3 + 42x2
