the coordinate of R, the center of PQ is 6 . If the coordinate of P is greater than the coordinate of Q & if RQ=10, what are the coordinates of P & Q ?
is it coordinate or just the ordinate ? because for coordinate both abscissa and ordinate must be given! and here we have only one number !!

this question can only be solved by assuming that all 3 points lie on same horizontal(or vertical)axis.....say x-axis in that case the R-->(0,6) RQ=10---->Q=(0,10+6)=(0,16) R centre of PQ----->P=(0,6-10)=(0,-4).... do u have options or something??

as i said,if y-axis is assumed,the co-ordinates of P and Q ARE (0,16)and(0,-4) if u only ask for ordinates,its 16 and -4.....
@hartnn notice that 'P is greater than Q' .. so P is 16 and Q is -4 the abscissa can be other than zero though!! for example they can be P(1,16) and Q(3,-4) if R(2,6) ! so i think it is just the coordinate of P is 16 and that of Q is -4

but as u said,coordinates are always pairs! co-ordinate of P is 16 does not make any sense... and if u take any x-co-ordinates like 1,2,3.....RQ=10 will not get satisfied...
