Explain why it is always necessary to balance a chemical equation. Be sure to discuss atoms, bonds, and the Law of Conservation of Mass

Well as a chemist it is nice to know what the possible end products of a reaction may be. So obviously since mass is conserved (assuming you can figure that one out by yourself) you will start with the same number of atoms as you started with. Bonds can typically be predicting once you understand the bonding tendencies of certain elements like carbon for example and oxygen, two that have very predictable bonding tendencies and are fairly simply to figure out how they will attempt to connect once a reaction occurs. Back to balancing....so important. You do not want to do a reaction that ends up producing an explosion or producing potentially hazardous end products. You also do not want to get your desired product while producing a bunch of other products that have no use in the industry.
