how can you find the total displacement during the time interval of a graph? please help totally lost :/
Do you have any more info on the graph besides the fact that it shows the time? Maybe a sample?

The total displacement will be the difference between the starting position and the ending position on the graph. If you let "s" be the position then it would be:\[\large displacement=s_{final}-s_{initial}\] This is a position versus time graph which means the position is on the y axis and the time is across the x axis. The start time is t=0 seconds and the start position is above that point...which shows 1m. The end time is t=10.0 seconds and the end position is above that point...which shows ~6.5m. Now just use the formula above to calculate the total displacement.
