The same amount of heat is added to 100 g of water and 1 kg of water starting at the same temperature. What will happen? The 100 g of water will reach a higher temperature. The 1 kg of water will reach a higher temperature. They will both reach the same temperature. There will be no significant change to either.

If you want to raise the temperature of 200 grams of water at 20° Celsius to 30° Celsius, how much water and at what temperature would you need? Twice as much water at 40° Celsius must be added. Half as much water at 40° Celsius must be added. Twice as much water at 30° Celsius must be added. Twice as much water at 60° Celsius must be added.
