OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

If water and hydrogen peroxide both consist of hydrogen and oxygen atoms can you explain why they have different chemical and physical properties?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

H2O2 has one more Oxygen atom giving it a higher molecular weight and more electrons.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(and different ionization potentials, different molecular structure, different electrostatic polarity, . . .)

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (zeesbrat3):

@CliffSedge I actually understood that :)
