Explain in detail how photosynthesis follows the law of conservation of mass AND the law of conservation of energy
@Nameless
give a min.. these questions are all similar to the ones that my professors gave me for our outlines.. lemme just sift through them.
alright :D
ahh yes the purpose of photosynthesis is to conserve energy naturally.
but how does it follow those laws?
it follows the laws of conservation because its purpose is to conserve energy.
.. like u can use the energy around u.. solar powered stuff.
same with plants.
i know..that answer was kinda weak.. but i hope it will help. as far as the law of conservation of mass..
do you know the equation for photosynthesis?
no
here let me try to answer this way.
The Law of conservation of mass states that in all chemical reactions, matter is not lost or destroyed.
yea... ok :D
Best Answer - Chosen by Voters The law of conservation of mass states that in ALL chemical reactions, matter is neither created nor destroyed. The law of conservation of energy states that in ALL chemical reactions, energy is neither created nor destroyed. Photosynthesis is a chemical reaction so it must obey the above laws. You can see that no mass is created or destroyed because all the atoms present before the reaction are present in the same quantities after the reaction. No energy is created or destroyed either. Light energy is simply converted into chemical energy. that seems like a good answer.
