27 = 3*3*3 = 3^3 and \(\sqrt a= a^{(1/2)}\) so \(\sqrt{27}=27^{1/2}=3^{3/2}\)

did u get that last step ? 3^(3/2) ?

I kind of do but could you be more clear on that last step?

u were correct with \(\sqrt{27}=27^{1/2}\) now \(\sqrt{27}=(3^3)^{1/2}=3^{3/2}\)
