Suppose that 1.00kg of water is frozen at 0.0C and the heat is used to warm a 2000.0g aluminum block that was originally at 25.0C. What would the final temperature of the aluminum be? (CAl=0.900J/g*C)

it is a bit unclear what you wrote, let me elaborate... 1 kg of water is frozen at 0 °C but what was starting temperature? if you have starting temperature of water then when you calculate heat needed to freeze it, is next part of the task related to that heat as if you would heat 2000 g block of aluminium from 25 °C with that same amount of heat that was needed to freeze ice block?
