What is the mass of 2.47 moles of fluorine (F) atoms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you need to find the atomic mass of fluorine (found on the periodic table, or google) which is about 19 amu. Moles are a unit of measurement to express the amount of substance. Conveniently, 1 mole is exactly the same amount as the atomic mass of the substance in grams. So we just multiply: 2.47 x 19 = 46.93g
