for my assignment im supposed to do this; Create a set and call it A. Next, create a subset of A and call it B. Draw a Venn diagram to illustrate your two sets. You may use Paint, Word, Power Point, or draw by hand and scan. Finally, find B′. To receive full credit for this problem, you must: Clearly state A. Clearly state B. Cleary state B′. Submit a copy of your Venn diagram.

for A write this {2,4,6,8,10, 12,14,16,18, 20} and you could call it the set of even numbers from 2 to 20. for B since it is a subset of A, write this {2,4,6,8,10} and call it the set of even numbers from 2 to 10 now to draw it draw a large circle and call it A draw a circle inside A and call it B inside B are the numbers 2,4,6,8,10 inside A, but not inside B are the numbers 12,14,16,18, 20 to state what B' , you would shade everything not inside B, note: includes not only that portion of A that is not also in B, but also includes the area outside of A

u have done correctly so far. the inner circle is subset, isn't it ? now u need to find B' any idea what ' (dash) means ??

since its B', finding the compliment of B means to find all elements which are in universal set A but NOT in B.

ALL ? no, 70 is in A, but its in B also, so 70 will not be in B'
