Is it possible for a cation to be isoelectronic with anion from the same period? Explain

nope they're at different ends of the table. say Br and K (anion) Br gains an electron to become isoelectronic with Kr (cation) K loses an electron to become like Ar unless K gains 7 e or Br loses 7 e, this is impossible.
