A 200g puck revolves in a circle on a frictionless table at the end of a 50.0cm long string. The puck's angular momentum is 3.00kg m^2/s What is the tension in the string?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The tension of the string must equal to centripetal force. \(T=m\omega ^2r\) We have to find omega first from angular momentum, \[L=I\omega\\L=mr^2\omega \\ \omega=\frac{L}{mr^2} \]
