PLease help! Its due tomorrow. At 20 degrees C, an aqueous solution that is 30.0% by mas in phosphorus hexachloride (a molecular compound) has a density of 2.2 g/cm^3. Assume 1000 g total solution. What is the molarity of phosporus hexachloride in the solution.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Molarity = mol/Liters molar mass of PCl6 = 243.67g/mol 1000g*(1cm^3/2.2g)*(1mL/cm^3)(1L/1000mL) = Volume in Liters 1000g*.3*(1mol/243.67g) = moles Just Divide!
