how do you know carbon monoxide is a ionic or covalent bond?

OpenStudy (waheguru):

covalent bonding is when there are two elements that share electrons but THEY ARE BOTH METALS Ionic is between a metal and a non metal In this case carbon monoxide would be a covalent bond because both carbon and oxygen are non metals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

waheguru... It's when they are both non-metals, not both metals....

OpenStudy (waheguru):

Yes, sorry I ment NOT METALS @andy1cool - thanks bro =)
