if all the letters were different, you would have \[7!=7\times 6\times 5\times 4\times 3\times 2\] but since you cannot tell the letters i and c apart, you have to divide by 2 times 2 = 4 so it is \[\frac{7!}{2!\times 2!}\]

ok what about this one Find the number of ways to arrange the letters in GIGGLE. I know the answer is 120. what I did is 7! ------ 3! x 2! but I got 60, not 120. What did I do wrong?

I mean the numerator is 6!, not 7
