Consider a rigid 2.0 L bottle. If you could introduce 15 puffs of air into the bottle at standard pressure (1.00 atm), how many puffs of air would you need to reach a pressure of 950 mm Hg?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

1 atm = 760 mmHg so you need 950 mmHg.. divide that by 750 mmHg and that equals how much pressure there is in units of atm. you now that 15 puffs = 1 atm.. so multiply that number you got from the previous division by 15. voila

thanks

OpenStudy (aaronq):

OpenStudy (aaronq):
