how to convert 100g into mole?
@HELLSGUARDIAN @TranceNova @yash2651995
100grams of what?
100g of argon into mole
1 mole
40 g of argon contain 1 mole...so how many will 100 g contain.. can u do it?
how u get that 40g contain 1 mole
because by definition of mole ,the molecular/atomic mass (in grams) of a certain molecule contains one mole of it.argon has atomic mass of 40g..hence 40g of argon is its 1 mole..
There is 39.9g/mol of molar mass for Argon, you can arrange a ratio to cancel out the ones you don't need. \[100\cancel{g~Ar} \times \frac{1mol~Ar}{39.9\cancel{g~Ar}}=2.5mol~Ar\]
Yep, Sam is correct...anytime you want to know the moles of anything, just look at the molar mass of the element and repeat his procedure! :o)
okay thanks to u all.its really hlp ful.
